Heritage Open Day: A chance to explore the beautiful interior of St. Chad's church, designed by Paley and Austin.
Some of the highlights are:
The 1000 year old font
The mosaic reredos depicting the last supper, designed by Henry Holliday
Stained glass windows, also designed by Henry Holliday.
There is also a chance to go up the tower for fantastic views of both the interior and exterior of the church
