Ancient House Museum Heritage Open Day

Heritage Open Day: Explore our Tudor timber framed merchants house dating from about 1490. The house has been a museum since 1924 and contains displays about the history of Thetford and the Brecks. This includes displays on Thomas Paine and Maharajah Duleep Singh, and a First World War kitchen. Young visitors can enjoy a range of interactive exhibits including dressing up, jigsaw, activity back packs and drawing sheets.
