Guided Tour of Kett's Heights
Heritage Open Day: Kett’s Heights is one of Norwich’s best-kept secrets providing one of the finest views overlooking Norwich. It is from here that Robert Kett and his 10,000 followers besieged the city in 1549. It is steeply wooded and contains the ruins of a medieval chapel much loved by 19th century artists. The garden terraces were created by the manager of the adjacent gasworks in the 19th century, and you can also see where pigs were kept during WWII. You can follow the labyrinthine paths
