The Marble Hall and Surrey House
Heritage Open Day: Surrey House was built as the headquarters for Norwich Union (now Aviva). Opening in 1905, it is still a working office today.
The building boasts a grand entrance hall, decked out in marble originally destined for Westminster Cathedral and is a spectacular piece of Edwardian architecture, designed by local architect George Skipper.
