Heritage Open Day: The school‘s roll of headmasters dates back 900 years to 1114, although the original founding may have been 500 years earlier. The 16th century Old School Hall was built on the foundations of a Dominican Friary which occupied the site of the Norman Cathedral. Ruins of the Friary are visible and an exhibition about the school's most famous pupil will be on view.
