Hungate Chapel - Revealed!
Heritage Open Day: In 2016/17 there has been a dig in the Hungate Chapel. There will be an exhibition of what has been found and the history around the dig and the findings. There will be another chance to look at an exhibition of the village history via postcards, maps and documents with more information.
Stewarding and information provided including Battle of Towton 1461.
The church is Grade I listed with some Saxon elements.
