Whitby Georgian Guided Walk
Heritage Open Day: Participants will meet their guides at the Whalebone Arch on the West Cliff. After a brief introduction to the panorama of Whitby from this point, the groups will walk through several of the Georgian streets on the west side of the town, including Cliff Street, Flowergate, St. Hilda's Terrace, Bagdale and Baxtergate, ending opposite the Swing Bridge. The walk of about 1 mile is mainly downhill or level, and will take about 1½ hours.
