Heritage Open Day: The church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin in Warmington has scarcely been altered since its completion in about 1290. Mary Queen of Scots would have been able to look across the fields from Fotheringhay to see the lovely 13th century broached spire. The interior of this large church is 13th century at its best. Come and see the 13th century roof made of wood in imitation of stone vaulting, 14th century pews carved with poppy heads, irises and lilies, the 15th century pulpit,
