Heritage Open Day: Visit the site of a little known, but vitally important battle that took place in 1018 and determined the Border between England and Scotland along the River Tweed.
There will be a presentation in Carham Church where the events of the conflict will be explained and this will be followed by a walk over the battlefield on the southern bank of the River Tweed.
