Heritage Open Day: No. 16-18 Queens Square was originally three townhouses designed by John Pinch the younger and built in the 1830s. It is Neo-Grecian with giant fluted engaged Ionic columns. It has been the home of Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution since the early 1930s. We have collections of books, fossils, plants, geological specimens and many artefacts which are used for research, education and exhibitions.
