Nexus Methodist Church at Walcot
Heritage Open Day: The foundation stone of 'Walcot Chapel' was laid in 1815 and opened for worship in May 1816. The organ was installed in 1818 and has been in use ever since it was originally built in 1771 for the Bath Assembly Rooms. Walcot is one of the oldest continuously used Methodist churches in Britain. It has a pillared portico gallery all round the interior and Victorian pews.
