Pilton Tithe Barn
Heritage Open Day: View and be told about the repair of this 14th century barn, which lost its roof in a fire in the 1960s. The roof was reinstated with the help of a Heritage lottery grant, using green oak in traditional construction.
The barn was used as a tractor training base for the Womens Land Army in the Second World War. There will be a small exhibition in the barn about this important organisation.
Tea, cakes, balloons and room for children to run around.
