Saltford Brass Mill
Heritage Open Day: An ancient watermill on the River Avon, used as a brass mill with water powered hammers, shaping industrial and domestic hollow-ware from 1720-1925. The only survivor of a group of 18th century mills involved in the brass and copper industry in the Avon Valley. Features an annealing furnace and working water wheel. Exhibition on the history of the local brass industry and water power. It is the only such mill left in existence.
