Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart, Tunstall
Heritage Open Day: Guides will be on hand to explain the history and current programme of restoration at this Grade II listed church. The Sacred Heart was designed by J S Brocklesby and completed by Fr P J Ryan, opening in 1930. Stained glass by Gordon Forsyth, principal of the Burslem School of Art. Main altar and side altars along the north aisle in marble, richly decorated with inlay and mosaic.
