Giggling Squid

Heritage Open Day: Changing Faces: once a builder’s office, now a Thai restaurant. In the 1880s this was a builder’s office with yard and workshop behind, where Zizzi is now. In 1909 the then owner Arthur Mardon set up a public skating rink on the workshop site, later adding squash courts. The Picture Palace, Farnham’s first cinema, was later built there and from 1939 to 1974 this building was the home of the Castle Theatre.
