Heritage Open Day: Princess Charlotte of Wales, heir to the throne, died tragically in childbirth 200 years ago this year. She resided at Claremont, Esher, with her husband Prince Leopold of Belgium. They worshipped at St George's Church, Esher, the venue for Stephen Chater's talk on her life on 9 September at 2.30pm. Previously Esher's parish church, St George's is a rare example of a village church of the Tudor, Stuart & Hanoverian periods
