Milner House

Heritage Open Day: Milner House, originally known as the Long House, was built 1891. A Grade 2 building originally owed by Daniel Pidgeon (DP initials are on show all around the building). He died in Egypt in 1900. It was next lived in by the Klinker family 1901 - many pictures to be seen. In the 1930's it was owned by Sir Frederick Milner who used the magnificent house to its full potential receiving all sorts of guests including The Duke and Duchess of York, later to become King and Quee
