Shah Jahan Mosque Heritage Open Day
Heritage Open Day: The Shah Jahan Mosque is the first purpose built Mosque in Great Britain and was built by a Hungarian linguist called Gottlieb Wilhelm Leitner. The Mosque was designed by a local architect called William chambers and paid for by the Begum of Bhopal. The Mosque has a amazing diverse history and housed some great personalities like Lord Headly, Abdullah Quilliam & Muhammad Marmaduke Picktall.
