Heritage Open Day: Visit this gem of a Gallery, purpose built in 1956 ,exhibiting over 800 drawings, paintings, theatrical and local caricatures of his day, watercolour and oil landscapes, including Sime’s works showing the influence of Hokusai and Hiroshige, as well as fantasy oil paintings, books and letters in a variety of artistic styles by Sidney Herbert Sime, Master of the Mysterious and brilliant black and white Victorian illustrator of the Rackham, Beardsley mould.
