Heritage Open Day: St John's School was founded in 1851 as an independent day and boarding school, to educate the sons of clergymen. It relocated from St John’s Wood, London to Leatherhead in 1872, with just 63 pupils. Since then the school has continued to expand and is now a community of over 700 pupils.
