Wesley House

Heritage Open Day: Wesley House is named after the great reforming preacher and founder of Methodism, John Wesley who visited Leatherhead in 1791 where it is believed he delivered his famous last sermon. Wesley House is a grade II listed Art Deco building built in 1935. The 'Council Chamber' which has been restored to its original condition can be viewed with many of its original features after walking through the imposing entrance hall which shows off its distinctive Art Deco style.
