Holy Trinity Church aka 'The Canny Space'
Heritage Open Day: Holy Trinity is Sunderland's first parish church and is now a Grade I listed building, in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church was built between 1718 - 1719 and once housed the first public library, civic rooms and even a fire engine! Come along and discover some interesting facts about the history of the church and see some of the original features in situ.
