Jarrow Salvation Army - Open Day
Heritage Open Day: Visitors can learn about the interesting history of the Salvation Army Corps in Jarrow, which was the 50th centre to be opened in 1878. As well as looking at the past history, visitors will be brought up to date with what the Salvation Army is doing today in the local community.
The Salvation Army Emergency tea wagon and a musical group will be in Jarrow shopping centre. There will be displays on the local work of the Army and community also World wide Army Work
