St Helens Church Low Fell
Heritage Open Day: St Helen's Church situated on Belle Vue Bank in Low Fell is a fine Gothic Revival church in the Early English style, built in 1876.
It was designed by John Wardle junior for Edward Joicey who lived in nearby Whinney House.
Good quality stained glass including work by Wailes and Strang, Edward Burne- Jones, George Baguley and Charles Kempe.
