Heritage Open Day: Magnificent late Victorian parish church with a beautiful interior. We have strong historical links to Irish immigration in 19th century. Notable features include Frosterly marble and Caen stone. Beautifully re-ordered in 2006, with restoration of steps to main entrance in 2015. This year, as well as celebrating our past, we are looking forward to a shared future in partnership with neighbouring Catholic churches in the Gateshead area. Come and see what it's all about.
