St Peter's Church, Wallsend
Heritage Open Day: Come along to see St Peter's new stained glass window. The window was designed by Tom Denney and shows two strong northern women saints, St Hilda and St Ebba and Mary Star of the Sea. It both complements and reflects our Irish windows which are the largest collection of Irish stained glass in the country,. The church includes the Angel nave ceiling and memorials to local mining disasters. Church records dating back to the 17th century and repaired stocks will be on disp
