Sunderland Minster
Heritage Open Day: The Minster Church of St Michael and All Angels and St Benedict Biscop dates back to c.940AD. Formerly serving the ancient parish of Bishopwearmouth, since 2007 the Minster serves the whole City as a sacred space in the heart Sunderland. It has a Medieval doorway, architecture by Dobson and Caroe and stained glass by William Morris, Grant and Denny.
