Oak House uncovered
Heritage Open Day: The Oak House is a 17th Century Yeoman farmers house which was extended and developed in the 1650s as the family became wealthier.
One of these extensions was the impressive 'belvedere' or tower which is now undergoing restoration. Come along and learn about the belvedere and its restoration, enjoy our introductory talk and peep behind the doors not usually open to the public.
Introductory talks about the house followed by behind the scenes mini tours at 2:30pm
