Brighouse Heritage Town Walk
Heritage Open Day: The heritage walk takes visitors along the canal towpath, viewing some of the early canalside buildings that shaped the future of Brighouse.
In the town centre a number of important Victorian buildings can be seen.
It is intended that the impressive former mayoral dais will be available to view at the Civic Hall.
This important piece of civic history was the work of the famous local woodworker, HPJackson of Coley.
The walk finishes at The Rydings, just outside the town centre.
