Crofton Parish Church
Heritage Open Day: Crofton Church represents a continuing Christian tradition in the village of Crofton for over 1,000 years being a former agricultural and mining village and now mainly a dormitory town for the local cities. Most of the building stems from the C15 in which Bishop Richard Fleming, who was born in Crofton, had a hand in. He was Bishop of Lincoln and founded Lincoln College, Oxon. His coat of arms are above the Church porch.
