Halifax Town Hall

Heritage Open Day: Halifax Town Hall is a Grade II* listed building designed by Sir Charles Barry, architect of the Houses of Parliament. It was completed by his son Edward Middleton following his father's death and officially opened in August 1863. Inside the Town Hall visitors will be able to see Victoria Hall with an impressive stained glass ceiling and coloured marble and encaustic tiles on the floor.
