King James's School

Heritage Open Day: The present school site has had a school on it since 1547. The present oldest part of the site dates to about 1750 when the school house was rebuilt. Other classrooms still in use date from 1848. This old part of the school will be open to visitors and guides will be around to point out important historical features both inside and outside the buildings.
