St Giles Church

Heritage Open Day: Recently renovated church on site of Norman chapel. The nave has a 14th century columned arcade and a 16th century ceiling. The organ dates from 1885 and was made by JJ Binns. There is also an octagonal bell and clock tower. The font is 500 years old. There is a military chapel with a roll of honour The church will be open to visitors on Thursday and Friday 8.30-3.00 and 8.30- 12.00 on the Saturday There will be an organ recital on the Friday and a peal of bells on the Saturd
