Urchfont Church - Guided Tours and Bell Ringing Introduction
Heritage Open Day: Morning visitors will be given an explanation of English church bell ringing by our resident experts, an opportunity to have a go at ringing a tower bell and visit the belfry (numbers permitting) up the ancient spiral staircase. The oldest bell in the tower dates from the mid 14th century.
Visitors can also take in the first of the 4 guided tours of this interesting 13th century parish church that will be conducted during the day.
