Kate’s Super Cake Day

Join founder of ‘Aunty Cake’ and Bread of Heron group leader Kate for a masterclass in the art of cake and biscuit baking! Over the course of the day Kate will show you how to bake her ‘Healthy Cake’ using spelt flour, which is packed with seeds, fruit (fresh and dried) and yoghurt. You’ll also be baking a Dark Banana Ginger cake using wholemeal flour, and either rye based cookies, crackers or cake!

This one-day workshop is suitable for both novices and seasoned cake bakers alike, who want to try new recipes using spelt, rye and wholemeal flours, all freshly milled at Heron Corn Mill!

Places are limited so early booking is essential.
