Talk by Caroline Holmes
On September 27th Caroline Holmes, the well known author and garden historian, will give one of her fascinating talks in Barrow Village Hall. Entitled 'Flowers of Impressionist Youth' ,Caroline will offer a thought-provoking and intriguing bouquet of plants, paintings and readings on the theme of Impressionist artists such as Monet, Renoir and McCubbin whose children were at the front in the First World War. There is plenty of parking at the village hall.
Talk begins at 7.30. £8.50 to include a glass of wine or local apple juice. Money raised will go to St. Nicholas church funds
