The Needles Headland and Tennyson Down - Headland discovery walk
Our walk across the downs will help you discover far reaching views across the Solent, wildlife and history. We'll walk around three miles from the Highdown Inn to the Needles Battery where you can finish with a well deserved warm drink or meal. Along the way, we'll show you how the site has evolved into an area of outstanding natural beauty, whilst also serving an important role as a Victorian coastal defence and rocket testing site. Booking Not Needed.
