Avebury - Spooky adventures at Avebury
Goosebumps and tremors, cat trails and mummers masks- children will love the atmosphere at Avebury this half term. With a chance to make a mask and win a spooky prize as part of the trail, there is guaranteed fun for all.Trails 2. The half-term trail in the Farmyard will celebrate the ancient festival of Samhain which marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the winter months. This was seen as a time when the boundary between worlds was thin and spirits could enter this world.
A National Trust Event - Start 11:00. End 16:00. Normal Admission Charges Apply. Collect your spooky half term trail at the Museum Barn. £2 per trail.
