Cardiff Sinfonietta: American Night
Cardiff Sinfonietta will perform the Welsh premiere of Bernard Kane’s, Euphonium Concerto, Seren Wen featuring David Childs, arguably the world’s leading exponent on this instrument. Seren Wen had its world premiere in Carnegie Hall for euphonium and wind ensemble, but Bernard has created a new arrangement for chamber orchestra especially for this concert. The concert will also include Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings and Copland, Appalachian Spring.
