My inspiration comes from the Scottish landscape, especially where I live in Dumfries and Galloway. From the wild flowers and hedgerows of spring and summer to the starker outlines of winter trees and moorland, the variety of the countryside gives me an ever changing subject.
I enjoy taking trips out and drawing on site as far as possible and then translating my sketches and ideas into paintings and original artists prints - which I work on in the Gracefield Print Studio, Dumfries as well as
