Roger Marks' Cornish Armada Jazz Band at Martock Parish Church

This will be the 116th concert for the Guardians of Martock Church since 2002. When this band came here in 2015 we had already hosted 18 concerts by traditional jazz bands and Roger's band was voted the best, so we are delighted they are returning. Roger leads the 6-piece band on trombone and the late Humphrey Lyttelton said on BBC Radio that his trombone playing is World Class. Roger set up his Armada Band in 1985 but his original sidesmen are getting on a bit and only play in Honiton

The concert starts at 7.30pm and will end circa 9.40pm. There is ample nearby parking, disabled access and
toilet. Wine and soft drinks are available. Tickets are just £9 on the door or £8 from 0193
