For over 100 years the Newman Brothers made coffin furniture in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. This rich heritage is brought to life at The Coffin Works, where original tools are used to recreate the day-to-day running of the site. This interesting talk by a speaker from The Coffin Works will bring tales from the shop floor of the factory that can count Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother amongst its ‘customers’.
