Autumn Veteran Tree Walk

The Chirk estate is rich in biodiversity, and was recognised as a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) in 2011. There are over 650 veteran trees on the estate, many dating back to the planting scheme of William Emes. The natural features of many veteran trees mean that they are ecosystems in their own right. This is a great opportunity to discover more about our Veteran Trees and how we protect them across the estate. The walk is free, but booking is required so we know numbers. Please
