Bampton's History Through Its Houses by Nicola Priestly

This is an exhibition of the history of Bampton using a study of a selection of homes and the people who live in them today. Following research of the oldest to the newest houses and spanning as many types of home as possible, this exhibition includes tales of ghosts, social controversy and architectural merit.

This is a Bampton Community Archive exhibition. There is a photographic exhibition of Downton Abbey filming in the vestibule and very attractive Downton Abbey memorabilia for sale.
Opening hours: 11 - 1.00 and 2.30 - 4.30 Monday-Saturday, 2.30 - 4.30 Sunday.
