Tour of Grafton Wood
John Tilt, volunteer manager of Grafton Wood and ex Butterfly Conservation West Midlands Chairman, will host a visit to Grafton Wood. Grafton Wood is one of the largest and most important woodlands in Worcestershire; its boundaries have remained unchanged for at least 300 years. Grafton Wood is the stronghold for the Midlands’ only colony of the rare brown hairstreak butterfly. It is also important for other butterflies such as white admiral, white-letter hairstreak and silver-washed fritillarie
