14th Annual lecture and supper - The British Church before St Cedd (620-664)
The lecturer, Rev'd Dr Phillip Bradford did his graduate studies at York University before becoming a lecturer there (his field of study was parliament and political culture in early 14th century England). This year he published the first of a 2 volume work on clergy in parliament.
He will be speaking on Christianity in Britain from the time of Christ to the Council of Whitby in 664AD, at which St Cedd was one of the chief translators.
Dr Bradford will also be preaching at the Benef
