Join us for a celebration walk and follow the footsteps of those who first made the procession from Wellington town to the Monument. 200 years ago, when the foundation stone was laid a procession of what is rumored to be 10,000 people walked from the town to where the monument now proudly stands. To commemorate this great event the National Trust and Colin Spackman, curator of Wellington Museum, will be leading a walk packed with the history of Wellington to follow in the footsteps of the commun
