175 Years of Accrington's Band Exhibition
Accrington Old Band was founded in 1842. It has had several name changes over the 175 years since it was founded and since 2000 has been known as East Lancashire Concert Band.
In September 1914 it led the parade of the newly recruited Accrington Pals Battalion.
On display are a series of story boards telling the history of the band, photographs, and memorabilia. On display at Accrington Library, the home of the largest collection of Accrington Pals information.
