'A Glimpse into the Past' - Easton Royal Village Archive Display

Easton Royal Heritage Group invites you to a display of our extensive archive materials giving a fascinating insight into the history of this special village. We hope the displays will be of interest not only to current villagers, but also to past residents, their families and descendants.
Search in your attics, have a look in albums, talk to relatives and bring anything along anything you think we could add - we shall have a scanner so you won't need to leave originals.
Our village is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and a conservation area - many of the 110 houses are over 200 years old. We do not live in a museum but we are proud of our heritage.
So why not come and join us, have a look at the displays, enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Then stroll through the village, visit the church and find out why we think Easton Royal is special.
Everyone is welcome and entry is free.
If you can't join us that weekend, but have something you would like to contribute to our archives, please contact Liz Johnson on 01672 810289.
The display is on from 2pm until 4pm on Saturday, 6th April and from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 7th April. Entry is free. The village hall has a recreation ground with a terrific playground to keep the children occupied!
