Celebrate 25 years of The Force this Star Wars Day at The Red Dragon C
This May 4th, feel the force at Cardiff Bay’s leading entertainment venue, The Red Dragon Centre.
Jump on the Millennium Falcon and get to the Centre to catch an exclusive big screen showing of The Phantom Menace at ODEON, Wales’ only IMAX cinema, to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary. The sci-fi stunner will be playing at the ODEON from May 3-9.
If reliving the on-screen action isn’t enough, there will be an extra treat for young jedis with the chance to meet some favorite characters. Chewbacca and Leia will be greeting fans at the Centre at 12.30, 1.30, 2.30, and 3.30pm, so be sure to catch them for an out of this world selfie.
The Red Dragon Centre is home to a multitude of interactive, lifestyle and food and drink venues including Odeon Cinema, the home of Wales’ only IMAX screen, and the Hollywood Bowl which have been key Centre attractions since the beginning.
A host of additional brands have joined the Centre family to become an intrinsic part of the entertainment and dining experience, including Grosvenor Casino, Trim & Tan, Five Guys, Spice Route, Volcano, EasyThali and Zaika.
The Centre is also the site of the Capital FM South Wales studio, which was formerly Red Dragon FM, as well as Heart FM. Today, you’ll find the likes of Josh and Kally broadcasting their Capital Drive Show live from there every weekday.
